How a guest gets there
The guest taps a “WiFi” alert in the app. This opens a pop-up sheet at the bottom of the screen with the WiFi connect options.
The two connect options
- One-tap connect: A button lets the guest connect their device automatically. Behind the scenes, the app hands the network name and password to Apple’s own WiFi-joining system (the same one used by “Settings → WiFi”), so the guest never sees or types the password.
- QR code: The same screen shows a QR code. This is useful if the guest wants to connect a second device (like a tablet or laptop) — they can scan it with that device’s camera app, and most phones will offer to join the network directly from the camera preview.
Common issues
- “Network not found” — the guest is out of range of the park’s WiFi, or the SSID in the alert content is wrong/mistyped.
- “Incorrect password” — usually means the WiFi password was changed at the router but not updated in the app’s alert content.
- Guest wants to connect a laptop/other device — direct them to the QR code option rather than the one-tap button, since the one-tap button only connects the phone currently in the guest’s hand.
- No WiFi alert visible — check the guest is looking at the right place/home page; alerts are attached to specific pages, not shown globally.
