Voice features are only useful if guests know they exist. Most people won’t think to open the Shortcuts app to see what’s available — so the app surfaces it for them.
In the My Holiday tab, there’s a scrollable row of example phrases guests can say to Siri. Each tile shows a real phrase that works — things like “I’m looking for a route at [app name]” or “search FAQs at [app name]”.
Tapping a tile doesn’t trigger Siri directly. It’s more of a prompt — showing guests the kind of language that works so they feel confident trying it themselves.
Info
The carousel automatically reflects what’s actually available. If a feature is switched off for a particular park, its phrases won’t appear — so guests are never shown something they can’t use. See Multiple Parks, Guest Restrictions & Feature Toggles for how those switches work.
The five apps that aren’t holiday parks show only the phrases for their own, smaller set of shortcuts — see App Shortcuts. The example phrases are shown in English and aren’t translated, because they have to match exactly what Siri listens for.
There’s also a Search tile, showing the phrase “Search [app name] for…”. It appears as long as at least one searchable content type is fully switched on for the park (both its Siri switch and its own content service), and points guests towards Siri Global Search — the newest way to search everything at once.
